Excited to have my poem "fire woman" featured in the Poetry Maps project as part of ARTx: Art + Ideas Experience Arizona this year! See my poem along with all the others at the installation at the Museum of Northern Arizona anytime from May 18-26. Also featured in at least one bus in Flagstaff!

 

haiku for Musuem of Northern Arizona bus lines program

Just found out that a haiku of mine was accepted into the Museum of Northern Arizona's bus lines program, where a poem is paired with a piece of artwork from the museum and appears on a city bus. (I think that's how it works.) And check out the art they paired my poem with! "Sunset Horse" by Paul Dyck. Reading on Wed Oct 15 and Thurs Oct 16 in Wyoming

I'll be reading in Rock Springs and Green River, Wyoming, with two other writers featured in ON FOOT.

When: Wednesday October 15th at, 6 pm (I think). Where: Western Wyoming Community College, Rock Springs Main Campus.

Flagstaff Reading for ON FOOT—Success!

Had a great time reading with a bunch of fellow writers featured in ON FOOT: Stories of Backpacking in the Grand Canyon, edited by Rick Kempa and published by Vishnu Temple Press. It took place at the Grand Canyon Trust in Flagstaff.

Reading in Flagstaff, this Saturday, October 4th 4-6 pm

I'll be part of a reading celebrating the new book ON FOOT from Vishnu Temple Press, in which I have an essay, "Holy Water."

The reading with be in Flagstaff, AZ, on Saturday, October 4th. Readings will be from the various and sundry essays included in the book.
