William Golding's The Inheritors
Reading William Golding's The Inheritors. Finally. And kicking myself for waiting so long. If you liked Lord of the Flies, check this one out: Neanderthals meet early man, from the Neanderthals POV. A male main character, but the female characters are fascinating.
